G'day you lot,
Congratulations to those who have passed the papersift stage & keep trying to those who weren't so lucky this time.

For those of you travelling to London for your exams / interviews, I thought I might try & help you out by posting the phone number for my Force's Section House.

Bernard Morgan Section House is situated in Golden Lane within the Barbican area. It's only a few stops on the tube & not very far on the bus from The Strand where Australia House is located.

I think it costs about £20 per night for Police Officers from outside Forces & you get breakfast thrown in (I mean thrown at you).
It's not fabulous but where else could you get a room with an ensuite 'sink' & brekkie for that price?.

0207-164-8000

Regards,

Skilly.

Skilly,

Thanks for the info. I phoned them up and booked for the 1 and 2 November. The guy on the desk quoted £30 a night b&b but that is still as cheap as anywhere else. Ta mate.
